Through our program youth are trained in skills of their choice and interest. Over the years girls and boys have been trained in skills for repairing, driving, tailoring, agricultural techniques, becoming a beautician and fashion designing.

Because of the program many girls within the communities we work in were able to achieve economic independence. Additionally, job mediation and placements are conducted by linking with, and learning from, institutions that offer certified courses from time to time.

Motivating youth to partake in skills training has become critical, as India has a huge productive population that needs to be equipped to meet the growing economic needs and for the development of the country. For profit companies are also offering specialized trainings for customized skill sets to meet their company’s requirements.

Help A Child of India liaises with the youth and the companies to ensure the targeted communities in the areas of operation benefit from these offers.
